At Coltrain Hardware, we believe in the power of community and the importance of stepping up in times of need. With the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene on Western North Carolina, many of our fellow North Carolinians are facing hardships that we simply cannot ignore. In response, we’ve activated Coltrain Cares, our mission-driven initiative to support those affected by this disaster.
The extent of the damage left by Hurricane Helene is heartbreaking, but as always, we’re ready to help. With the help of your generous donations, we’re assembling essential supplies and sending them to Cragmont, a staging area where the Emerge Chaplain Response Team is working tirelessly to meet the needs of those affected. The team at Cragmont is currently serving up to 10,000 people a day, providing food, shelter, and essential supplies to help families begin the recovery process.
How You Can Help
Your donations—whether they’re canned goods, hygiene products, blankets, or other essentials—are vital to this effort. Every item counts and goes directly toward helping someone who’s lost so much. Donations can be dropped off at Coltrain Hardware during our normal business hours. If you’re unable to contribute items, we also welcome financial donations, which will be used to purchase additional supplies needed on the ground.
